Terms of Use

1. Agreement
By downloading or using Vanism ("the App"), you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the App. You must be at least 13 years old.
2. The Service
Vanism is a travel companion and optional GPS-verified challenge game. Features include trip logging, planning, an AI copilot (C3I), community surfaces (when enabled), and an earned virtual currency (Dragon). We may change, suspend, or discontinue features with or without notice.
3. No Account Required
The App uses a random device identifier. You are responsible for activity on your device. Do not attempt to forge location, farm rewards, or abuse APIs.
4. Location & Safety
Challenge awards and some earns require real-world presence. Do not drive distracted. Obey traffic laws, posted signs, and local overnight/parking rules. C3I and in-app intel are informational only — not legal, medical, or navigational guarantees. You are solely responsible for where you park, camp, and drive.
5. Virtual Currency (Dragon)
Dragon is earned through verified in-app activity. It has no cash value, is not redeemable for money, and is not a cryptocurrency or security. We may adjust balances for abuse, errors, or integrity violations. We do not sell Dragon for real currency.
6. Subscriptions
Paid tiers (e.g. Weekender, Hero, Monthly, Yearly) are billed by Apple. Manage or cancel in your Apple ID subscriptions. Restores use Apple's restore-purchases flow. Utility features are not gated behind paywalls; paid tiers unlock community depth and optional extras.
7. Community & Content
If you enable community features, you grant us a non-exclusive license to host and display content you post for operating the service. Do not post illegal, hateful, spam, or personally identifying content about others. We may moderate, remove, or rate-limit content and devices.
8. AI Copilot
C3I replies are generated by machine learning systems and may be incomplete or wrong. Do not rely on them as the sole source for safety-critical decisions (weather, road closures, legality, medical).
9. Acceptable Use
You may not reverse engineer the App for abuse, scrape or overload our APIs, spoof GPS for rewards, harass others, or use the App for unlawful activity.
10. Disclaimers
THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM LIABILITY FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, AND FOR ANY LOSS ARISING FROM TRAVEL, CAMPING, OR RELIANCE ON APP CONTENT.
11. Termination
We may suspend access for violations of these Terms or for integrity/abuse reasons. You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it.
12. Changes
We may update these Terms. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. Material changes will update the "last updated" date.
